School Meals

Mellors provide our school meals at Thurcroft Junior Academy. They understand that providing nutritious and delicious meals for primary school children is a top priority. Mellors believe that the joy of food begins with a sprinkle of imagination, a dash of creativity, and a whole lot of love. Yep, you guessed it right – they're the fun-loving, apron-wearing, food-loving family that’s all about bringing smiles to your lunchtime, using only fresh, local ingredients to lock in the flavour and nutrients.

Mellors' menus are diverse, colourful, exciting and flavoursome! We change menus for each season and rotate and on a 3-weekly basis – to ensure good variety and selection, always!

Free School Meals

Prices

Children in Nursery, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 can choose to have a school meal if they wish. This can be ordered at the beginning of the school day.

Each meal includes a main, dessert and drink. The cost of a school meal is £2.50 per day, which is £12.50 per week and must be paid for using the school gateway parents app.
