Rotherham Parent Carers Forum have been commissioned by RMBC to deliver the Rotherham's Children's Disability Register. The Children’s Disability Register is a confidential list of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). All Councils in England have a statutory duty to keep and update a Children’s Disability Register although it is voluntary for people to join it.
The register helps the Council and partners plan the services and support children and young people (0-25) may need in the area. It also helps SEND families better understand the services available to them. The first 500 children and young people that live in Rotherham to sign up will get a free Max Card. Max card offers discounts or free entry to attractions across the UK. By joining, they will also agree to receive newsletters every term, keeping them updated on local SEND information.
